Who is VII?

There's plenty of hair salons that you can go to for your traditional blonding service but how many of those salons will cater to your hair texture? As a 4C natural living in In South Carolina, I understand the struggles of wanting variety beyond braids that would withstand this humid environment. I help young creative professionals who use identity and self-impression to achieve manageable hairstyles that still look unique in different from the status quo while maintaining versatility and health.

In the beginning of the pandemic my salon shut down for an Un surmounted amount of time. To keep my hands busy and prevent me from going crazy I took up wire wrapping I now discover I have a love of creating eclectic one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. I draw inspiration from Japanese subcultures particularly onee - gyaru and Agejo Gyaru. I think of it as a love letter to my younger self who did not have the resources nor support to express my true creative self. I want to be someone that you can come to and tell me about all you are thinking about trying out a new style I want to be cheering you on. When you take your first steps into becoming your true self.
